Bari Bax Designs is a Residential and Commercial Interior Design Firm servicing the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island, British Columbia. In addition, we create and build custom furniture pieces.
As a family team, we offer many combined years of expertise working on single-family residential, multi-family residential, office environments, institutional spaces, medical offices and marine interiors.
We pride ourselves on being approachable, transparent and highly qualified to manage projects from conception through to completion.
Our mandate is to increase our clients' lives by creating spaces and pieces which improve the day to day efficiency, appeal and absolute enjoyment of their surroundings whether it be at home or in the workplace.
LIZ BARICHIEVY
Principal, Interior Design
Liz graduated in South Africa with a National Diploma in Interior Design (NDID). She specializes in residential, marine and commercial interior design, showing a passion for space planning, furniture and millwork design, and intuitive comprehension of colour.
KIM BAXTER
Principal, Interior Design
Kim graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design (BID) from Kwantlen Polytechnic University. She has experience managing design teams for commercial and institutional projects. With a keen eye for detail, she places a strong emphasis on quality and functionality.
TOM BARICHIEVY
Principal, Custom Furniture
Tom graduated in South Africa with a National Diploma in Interior Design (NDID) furthering his studies in business and marketing. With his background in design and construction he has most recently pursued his passion of creating handcrafted custom furniture.

CUSTOM FURNITURE
We specialize in custom designed and handcrafted wood furniture. Each piece is created specifically for our clients' needs. We use a variety of solid wood species, harvested both locally and abroad. The hand applied finish is non-toxic and kind to our environment. We can create dining tables, coffee tables, side tables, credenzas, benches, bed frames, headboards, wine racks, charcuterie boards, and the list goes on. Pricing varies according to design and wood species.
